Apple Cider Moscow Mule

Thanksgiving is around the corner! It sounds crazy considering we just had Halloween and already the stores are filled with Christmas decor. No time to savor the season! I’ll admit, I secretly love it though. The holidays get me excited! But anyway, I wanted to create a fun cocktail just in time for your Thanksgiving celebrations that your guests will enjoy. Doesn’t apple cider just scream Fall? So, imagine making it into a boozy cocktail that all will enjoy!

Apple Cider Moscow Mule

Ingredients:

  • Vodka (I used Titos)
  • 4oz Apple cider (or juice)
  • 2oz Ginger Beer

In shaker, add vodka, apple cider over ice. Shake well. Pour in chilled glass or ice filled copper mug and top with ginger beer. Garnish with apple slices! To make for large gathering, adjust based on number of guests. Fill pitcher with vodka, apple cider mix and then top with ginger beer to taste. Another great idea would be to fill a carafe with the vodka, apple cider mix. Then, have mini ginger beer bottles chilling in an ice bucket for guests to top off their drink as desired.

Note:

*Cookie Rookie’s recipe calls for infusing the vodka with apple – making apple vodka. I skipped that, but a great option!

** Garnish with cinnamon as well as apple for more warming flavor.
