When we think of Fall, we typically think of the holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, right? Because of this, we also think of decorating accordingly. While I love a theme, I also like to add in classic touches with subtle seasonal accents. That way, the look can be used year round with just a few adjustments!
The mister and I are in and out of town this season, so I wanted a tablescape that I could leave out. One that would look lovely even without florals or a centerpiece. One that didn’t scream Fall, but gave a subtle nod. Our Fall dining table is so simple, yet beautiful…if I do say so myself!
Classic White
I decided to use these stunning marble chargers that I picked up from Williams-Sonoma a few years ago. I’m still so obsessed with them. They were topped with our every day white dinnerware and flanked by my go-to gold flatware. As you can see, it is a very clean and airy setting. I added these napkins that I folded to be mini, while included leaf napkin rings (old, but similar here). The leaf napkin rings being a nod to the Fall season but that can (and are) used year round.
Of course, since I wanted it to be a table setting that we would use through the season, I chose our every day glassware from Crate and Barrel. I just love the shape and how it can work with any tablescape.
Pumpkins and Tealights
Another nod to the season were the white mini pumpkins that I leaned up against our mini rose arrangements. I also added these tea lights just for a romantic touch. The florals certainly weren’t going to last and when they died (and in between me picking up more), I just moved the tea lights and pumpkins to the center of the table.
This would be pretty with just a large pumpkin in the middle, a bowl of mini pumpkins, taper candle holders, or honestly nothing! I always love having our table set even if we’re eating at our bar, so a setting that can stay for some time, is perfect.
