Labor Day Weekend is almost upon us and you may be hosting friends and family! How about instead of hosting lunch, a BBQ, dinner – host breakfast! This simple Yogurt Bar is not only pleasing to the eye but a very tasty option your guests will love. Who doesn’t love a bar?….of any kind lol…Your yogurt bar can be as bountiful as you’d like; you could do a big huge spread of a bunch of toppings or do like I did, and make a small board.
The best is having this yogurt bar as apart of your breakfast or brunch meal – that way while you may have a formal meal plan (eggs, frittata, bacon, etc.) this is a fun DIY for your guests. When creating the presentation, the more colorful the better because yogurt can be a little dull and boring- remember, you eat with your eyes. And don’t forget to think about your display – like these cute snack bowls from Crate and Barrel to fill with your toppings.
- Chocolate chips
- Berries: Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries – go for a seasonal blend
- Diced Apples
- Diced peaches
- Nuts: slivered almonds, pecans, walnuts
- Coconut shavings
