Purple Haze

Purple is adding some fun to the Fall color palette! Wondering how you can feature it in your home? I love a fabulous large floral piece at home but small nosegays around the house in unexpected places is great. See how a pop of purple can provide the perfect accent on a side table?

[Helpful Hint]
A nosegay is a small floral bouquet of flowers. They are a great way to add splashes of color and beauty to your home, especially if you don’t want to buy florals every few days or week, like I do (I can’t help it, I love blooms!).

Don’t be afraid to step out of the clear, glass box and buy some fun, colorful glassware – in season and theme when appropriate. Check out some fun inspiration below courtesy of my momma!

She loves collecting assortments of glassware, dinnerware, serveware, everything so that she’s ready at a moments notice to choose a theme, colorscheme, style, anything! She is the ultimate hostess remember (mentioned here). I can’t even tell you how obsessed I am with her Versace glassware – I want, I need – mother may I borrow??

[Champagne Darling Inspiration]
Take the setting away from the countertop or dining table sometimes – establish the location where you want to entertain. Why not start with drinks at the coffee table and then move to the table for dinner. An evening (for that matter, any event) should always progress – don’t give your guests too much, too soon!

Halloween is coming up – hunt for cute holiday inspired accents at your local Tuesday Morning or Home Goods that you can incorporate – like this LED lighted ‘Potion’ bottle!

  1. Love this color, I'm currently decorating my living/dining room area with aubergine/eggplant accents. I think this color adds a sense of warmness and richness to a room. I can't wait to see how it all ties together. Keep the inspiration coming Champagne Darling!!
